In India, Sami Labs has a modern R&D center supported by a full fledged pilot plant, production and testing facilities. More than a dozen HPLC's and similar analytical equipment render support to the core research group. R&D facility is also equipped by the latest and modern Medium Pressure LC's and Preparative HPLC’s for isolation of Bioactive molecules.
The R&D facility is manned by scientists holding Ph.D. or M.Sc. with vast experience in multi-step organic synthesis and development of phytopharmaceuticals from lab to commercial scale.
Besides its own NMR, the R&D center has also access to various high resolution NMR's at the special instrumentation facility located at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. In addition to the in-house library facility, the R&D center has access to the various University and Institute libraries located in Bangalore.
Sabinsa Corporation in New Jersey is an associate company of Sami Labs and has been an Industrial Associate Program (IAP) member of the Princeton University. This membership enables the research group to have access to all the sophisticated state-of-art instruments including for X-ray crystallography. We have in our R&D CHNS – Analyzer, LC-MS, GC-MS, GC, FT-IR, AAS, ICP-OES, HPTLC, Flow Cytometer, 300MHz NMR etc. Our Biological and Analytical facility are NABL accredited.
In a nutshell, Sami Labs has excellent facilities and contacts with prestigious academic institutions to do high-tech research for experimenting innovative ideas.
Sami Labs complements its strength in R&D through close and formalized collaborative work with eminent scientists from reputed universities and institutes, who not only advice Sami Research Group, but also take assignments for key and sensitive process or method development. Such extramural research interactions with IIT- Mumbai, IICT-Hyderabad, UICT-Mumbai and IISc-Bangalore are already making significant progress in broadening and strengthening Sami Labs scientific mission.
